'thought some of you might find it interesting too :)

lately, every time I draw greg he looks more and more like a druggie.....mostly because of the way I draw his eyes, since he doesn't get much sleep.

PSATS TOMORROW HOMG

  • Oct. 14th, 2005 at 9:53 PM

you know what's so funny? Black Eyed Peas sings as song called "Where's the Love?" talking about how the media is corrupting children's minds. And then they sing another song called "My Humps"

I still like their beats a lot though. Just some of their lyrics are irking.

wow I haven't watched naruto in forever.

  • Aug. 22nd, 2005 at 10:45 PM

If I ever do start again...maybe I should get the manga instead. It'll actually be legal, considering that naruto's licensed to the US.

Yeah...after watching 50 episodes a long time ago in my Naruto days I kind of stopped and never downloaded again. I still like pairings though. My first obsession was Sasusaku, then kakairu, and now....

kibahina.

yes.

today was a very kibahina day.

I notice that it's hard to find a good fanfiction without all the very obvious english mistakes and isn't obnoxiously sappy, which most are.

ERGH.

I should've read an actual book today instead of burning my eyes out on the computer screen trying to read on the computer. For some reason I have a hard time focusing when reading on the computer so I make the font EXTRA EXTRA LARGE on ff.net to read. :\

Oh yes! cosplay babies! )

ooorange.

  • Aug. 14th, 2005 at 9:22 PM

there's a freaking orange smoking on my computer screen.

AND NOW IT'S DOING JUMP ROPE.

WTCYAY? :D

  • Jul. 22nd, 2005 at 5:17 PM

if you're wondering why I've disappeared for about two weeks is because I've been in California State Summer School for the Arts aka CSSSA aka Innerspark. I'm doing the animation program here, it's really fun (but a lot of work). We're doing traditional animation...yeah...anyways, I at least "feel" like I'm improving a lot, and it's interesting being around all these great artists that are in high school like me.

Yeah...that's all for now. I'm lazy. again.

Back from China.

  • Jul. 5th, 2005 at 7:54 PM

It really feels like morning right now because I just came back from China after a in total 15 hour flight and took a 3 hour nap. Now it is 7:55 PM on July 5th, the longest day I have ever experienced.

ARRRRGGGGGUUUUH.

So.

What did I do....

it's very blurry right now. This day is way too long. >___> I woke up on July 5th at 6:00 AM in China and got to America at around 11:00 AM on July 5th after my long flight.

Nevertheless, these are the cities I went to and the sites I saw:

Beijing - Tiannamen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Great Wall of China, A Jade Factory, Hutong Area, Summer Palace
Xi'an - Terra Cotta Warriors, The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and I SAW KATHERINE IN CHINA!!! :DDD
Guilin - Boat Ride on Li River
Suzhou - Canal Ride, Humble Administrator's Garden, Silk Factory
Wuxi - Taihu Lake, Pearl Factory
Shanghai - The tour guide took us to someone's house for black market shopping in the morning and then afterwards when we were given free time my mom and I met with my Auntie Flora for more black market shopping. >___> I bought a couple of things nevertheless. and for dinner (with my cousin Charlie and Olivia and their maid too). The next day I met my dad's secretary, Sarli, and visited the East China Normal University, and my dad's SVO office in Shanghai. Then we went off to shop some more. x__x
Hong Kong - I went for a half day tour and then we met with my Yeh Yeh (my Grandfather on my dad's side) and we walked around Hong Kong spending time with him. I also met with Uncle Frances and some of my Yeh Yeh's buddies that he hangs out with in the office they worked in (they don't really work in there anymore though). I got new glasses. And striped socks because I didn't have any unused socks left. We rode all public transportation available; the public bus many times, the subway, the ferry, the train. I bought four CDs (Mayday CD, Mayday VCD, YiDA, and the older Gorillaz Album which seems to have a new cover). I also saw my Grandmother's grave, and my Great Grandfather's Grave for the first time.

Oh Jetlag, jetlag, jetlag.........................

I got a lot of stomach aches. lots of stomach aches.
and lots of bug bites. even one with an AIR BUBBLE WTF TALK ABOUT WEIRD AND GROSS. but you didn't need to know that.
anyways...the bathrooms....were interesting.
oh yes! and I got addicted to watching Chinese Music Videos on Channel [V]. Hahahaha!

um....I'll elaborate more later. Too lazy right now.

ONE DOLLA ONE DOLLA!

  • Jun. 24th, 2005 at 10:40 PM

I'm on the other side of the world, China. In Xi'an currently. I'm leaving for Guilin tomorrow. I just saw the Terra Cotta warriors today :D you guys should try to see China at least once in your life. You won't regret it.

There are a lot of vendors with stuff priced usually to be one dollar.

And did you know that a long time ago when America was very foreign to China, you know how people in America say, "Eat your food because the people in China are starving"? Well, my tour guide said that when he was young, his mother would tell him,

"Eat your food because the people in America are starving!"

So....yeah. More depth later. Maybe.

over the ocean.

  • Jun. 16th, 2005 at 11:35 PM

Tomorrow I'm flying to all across the world to Osaka, Japan and staying there overnight. Then I fly to China and go on some tour for two weeks.

I haven't been to China since....well...I was like, one, and that doesn't count because I don't remember anything. But probably two of my greatest fears about going on this trip is for one, the culture shock of Asia; and two, seeing my YehYeh (Grandfather on my Dad's side). I haven't seen him for so long because he's been in Hong Kong these past years. I feel kind of bad that I still don't know Chinese...like, at all. And I don't think he likes talking in English too much either. I know some people get excited about seeing people after a long seperation, but I seem to get afraid to approach them and converse with them again, I dunno why. :\ You'd think that I'd have all these questions on how life has been during the time of seperation, but I don't...

>___>;;

  • Jun. 9th, 2005 at 8:00 PM

I think need a purpose in life.

jumble.

I got Gorillaz's DEMON DAYS!

YAY! I'm happy.

I think my favorite songs are All Alone and Dare. And Feel Good, Inc. is also good :DDDDDDDDD

So......summer.

nothing's really happened. I went to Open House; we were chosen to do Pro. I completely crapped on the cross-examination, but I apparently did pretty well on my speech. Yeah....gosh. >___> although CYL doesn't really prepare you for debates and stuff like that, more of just speeches....but I guess the table topics are supposed to help you with the cross-examination...I dunno. I suck at table topics anyways.

FOMG I still have that article on transportation to do.....>____< I'll do that tomorrow...

..................................................

I haven't written Soul Element for QUITE a while now....it's kinda weird, but I've just never been that happy with Soul Element -- not just the fact that it's not going anywhere, but the setting and how it's kind of morbid with the spirits and the death lists and parents dying.....and then all of the corny epiphanies I add into the story.

In fact, I kind of want something a little more light-hearted, but not something like Pokemon or even Digimon. And I still want them to have special powers dealing with spirits too......o___O

I need to sort out my characters too, I have WAY too many...and I want to edit them a bit more to make them more distinguishable. And HUMAN like. All of their faults are kinda....faulty to me. >____>

Gosh, I'm just always frustrated with these guys...you'd think I'd want just drop them, but they seem to be very special to me despite how bothersome they are. Maybe I'm just over looking them.

EXPOEXPOEXAMSAREOVER.

  • Jun. 1st, 2005 at 2:12 PM

I don't really understand why m-flo is so obsessed with expos. They're always like, "EXPO EXPO (insert Japanese here)!"

WHY? They even have a CD with EXPOEXPO on it.

Anyways, finished my LAST exam today. Chemistry. BLERRRUGHGHHGSDLfksdlfkdkfe it was hard. I felt so stupid during the test (though I managed to fill everything out), but I found that other people, including those who studied crazily had a hard time too because a lot of the stuff wasn't very directly (if at all) related to what was on the objectives.

Well, yeah. And so 9th grade comes to an end and summer begins.

effeminate asian boys.

  • May. 17th, 2005 at 10:10 PM

I realize, I believe, one reason why asian men aren't really favored in America.

Firstly, they're apparently more feminine looking than Caucasian or Blacks or etc. But that's not my reason. Well, it is, but I have a reason why they seem to look more feminine:

Asians tend to have a facial structure where the eyes do not dig deep into the skull, thus giving them a softer look. On the other hand, Caucasian men have that furrowed/thicker brow....I guess I could say, caused by the fact that their eyes are deeper into their skull. Thus brow gives men that stiff and manly look I guess. Like GRR I'M MANLY AND TOUGH.

Yeah, just a thought.

School Trip.

  • Apr. 15th, 2005 at 5:35 PM

Went to Pali Mountain on Tuesday; watched Clueless and daydreamed during the bus ride.

TUESDAY
- Settled in; met our counselor, Jen (who was really really nice)
- Team Building activities - Maze, Human Knot, Trust Walk
- Archery - I was precise but not accurate...
- Star-Gazing - unfortunately, I was unable to see much of the stars because I forgot to bring my glasses so I couldn't really see all of the stars they were talking about. >___>;;;
- Sleep - couldn't fall asleep until around 3:00 AM.

WEDNESDAY
- Ropes course - I only got to do one course, which was like this swinging-on-vines one while walking under a rope.
- Arts and Crafts - Painted a pot and made a bracelet
- Gilligan's Island - the point of this activity was to create something that will protect an egg from cracking when you drop it from the deck (which was fairly high up). When we tested out my group's contraption, the egg didn't break :D
- Karaoke - Very wild times.
- Sleep - slept better this night in comparison to the last; I fell asleep around the time we were supposed to go to bed (around 10:00 PM), woke up around 3:00 AM, and it took me a while to get back to sleep.

THURSDAY
- Went on the Hike - This was actually pretty fun; walking in the wilderness and all. We were headed downhill to Deep Creek, then when we went back we went uphill which was much harder. I sketched a small tree while I was down in Deep Creek; I really like how it turned out, so maybe I'll scan it in sometime.
- Campfire - Watched Skits, Special Talents, Listened to stories etc. I didn't get to eat any s'mores though because the people the people in the front were being...well...pigs.

FRIDAY
- Watched this Pali Mountain Summer Video.
- Peer Pressure activities and Culture Shock - Skits and this culture activity
- Went Home, watched 10 Things I Hate About You and daydreamed on the bus.

Yeah, that's basically what activities we did. My friends and I played a lot of B.S. and randomness during free/cabin time.

I also finally know what "mofo" means. xD;;;

Pictures later, they haven't been developed yet.
